What is the SOFR interest rate?
SOFR (Secured Overnight Financing Rate) is an interest rate published by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. SOFR can be seen as the average interest rate for secured loans issued in American Dollars (USD) with a maturity of 1 day (overnight).
SOFR is a reference rate (benchmark rate), introduces as an alternative to the US Dollar LIBOR rate.
