What is the AUD LIBOR interest rate?

The AUD LIBOR interest rate was the average interbank interest rate at which a large number of banks on the London money market were prepared to lend one another unsecured funds denominated in Australian dollar. Although the AUD LIBOR rates no longer exist, other LIBOR rates are still published. To cope with the disappearance of LIBOR, several alternative benchmark interest rates have been introduced, such as ESTER (Euro), SOFR (US Dollar), SONIA (British Pound Sterling), SARON (Swiss Franc) and TONAR (Japanese Yen).

The Australian dollar LIBOR interest rate were originally available in 15 maturities, from overnight (on a daily basis) to 12 months.
