Inflation figures 2008
This page shows the inflation figures for 2008 for a large number of countries so that you can easily compare them with one another. This involves inflation based on the CPI (consumer price index)
and the HICP (harmonised consumer price index)
. The CPI is often considered a country’s most important inflation figure.
The HICP is a European measure in order to be able to compare European inflation figures effectively.
