Inflation rates in 2012 Historical international inflation rates for the year 2012
This page shows the average inflation figures for 2012 for a large number of countries so that you can easily compare them with one another. Depending on the year, we show inflation based on the CPI (consumer price index) and the HICP (harmonised consumer price index). The CPI is often considered a country's most important inflation figure. The HICP is a European measure in order to be able to compare European inflation figures effectively. Below the summary table you can view the development of inflation over the year 2012 for each country.
